The lighting in our room was not great, and we didn't realize that we could order a mini fridge at no additional cost. However, the room itself was clean, and we received fresh linens every day. It also offered a fantastic view of the arch. We absolutely loved the pool, especially thanks to Corinthian, who provided amazing customer service. We recommend getting the $25 pool tumbler, which comes with $10 refills for the rest of the summer. The service, food, and cocktails were fantastic. Breakfast was included in our rate and was quite adequate, featuring eggs, sandwiches, and hot coffee. We found plenty of reasonable dining options within walking distance. The staff at this hotel was top-notch. Whenever we had questions at the front desk, they had answers. We even received help from Andy with our bags upon arrival. We will definitely return.
Stayed here for a week. I called every single morning and reminded them to clean the room that day and they did so if you like a clean room every day just call and ask. At check in my room was actually 88 degrees because the heat had been blowing all day (it shouldn't have been it was only in the upper 60s outside). I called the front desk after check in and the lady almost didn't believe me and said to just wait because they have motion sensors that turn the air on and off but I assured her if the sensors were working then it wouldn't be this hot (meaning the heat was clearly running all day before I got there). She sent maintenance up and he confirmed it was broken and the heat had been running. I requested a new room at this point because it would have taken all night to cool down and they gave me one. I just wish they would have moved me to a new room on my word the first time so I didn't have to wait hours for maintenance to back me up. Other than that it's a decent hotel. Barista on the first floor, I ate a lot of their catering all week and it was average, nothing special but the catering workers were very good. The service at the bar at night was very good.
Stayed here for a weekend mainly to enjoy the pool, but cleanliness was a noticeable issue this time — from the lobby to the room, which had an unpleasant odor. Staff were kind and helpful, but overall the hotel didn’t feel well-maintained. If cleanliness and a clean pool are important to you, you may want to explore other nearby options in Clayton.
