Le Papillon Hotel

Good central location clean room and a nice welcome. Stayed in the family suite which has twin beds in a separate room and ensuite off the main bedroom.

Where do I start, 'What do you expect in Blackpool ' that's all I've heard since staying here. As we drove up the road to the hotel, it should have been a red flag, even the church is boarded up. A lot of the properties are run down, boarded up or being done up. There are a few B&Bs still on the road. My husband booked, it is definitely Cheap. He read reviews, be aware look at the dates. He read the older ones, 'family run hotel, beautiful breakfast etc. It isn't family run now. The lovely gentleman who greeted us manages 6 hotels and goes from one to another. So we did have a little wait on the front till he got to us. We had to ring the number on the door to gain access. He was very friendly and showed us to our room. He did ask us if the room was ok and assured us no hen or stag parties were in the b&b. There wasn't. The room, paper throw away cups for tea and coffee, plastic glasses for water. A bottle of milk was provided with the tea, coffee and sugar. Small fridge in the room. Crumpled unironed duvet and pillow cases. The bed was comfortable. Two bath towels one hand towel, clean but well used. No blind at the bathroom window Hand prints on the wall near the door. Clean but not brilliant, peeling wallpaper very tired. You can tell it's a old room . The wall art was nice. My husband would leave a different review, as he said it could be worse. I wouldn't recommend it or stay again.

The hotel is very very clean but our rooms had no doors on our bedrooms I am dissabled and found it extremely cold at night I never slept at all I ended up getting dressed and getting bk into bed fully clothed which was extremely uncomfortable hence no sleep never saw any owners at all only when we checked in wouldn't stay here again as it's not suitable for me but it is very clean and tidy
