See added picture! We had booked a long weekend incl. a pregnant woman and a baby. It was a beautiful location and a nice house. But unfortunately it was not as clean as we had hoped. We have been in contact with the owner for this and indicated that we wanted our cleaning costs refunded (€250) and then we would clean ourselves and stay. Mister indicated that it was only possible to refund €100 or we could leave the house within an hour and get a full refund. Not pleasant of course to immediately get such a counter offer, we had driven more than 5 hours to get here.. We decided to contact Airbnb. They would also consult with the owner. This also took a lot of time, after which we decided to leave the house and wanted our costs back. But then the owner suddenly said that that was no longer possible... This of course did not make the atmosphere any better! Long story short, once again the house was nice and a good location but just not clean! We are very disappointed in the service of the host. His response to Mariska is also not very professional and we are no longer welcome in any of his houses. (Latest review) Our compliments to Airbnb itself, they finally ensured that we got our money back!
Do not stay here! The house is very filthy and dusty. The floor and tables feel sticky, an indication that it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. It’s quite expensive and you pay a large amount for cleaning (€250). You can rent better and more beautiful houses elsewhere.
Here again, since the original review was assigned to an orchard [nice trick ;)] 1 star for 2 main reasons: 1. Description and condition of the object do not match. The house is old and outdated. There is no romantic feeling because of all the cheap, new-fangled decorative elements and hanging power cables! Pool table damaged and unplayable, although stated. Sauna not usable. Power outages due to overloading of the devices connected there. Much too small garbage cans for 20 people. Mold in the bathrooms upstairs. So all around an unacceptable situation. Given the price and the description, you automatically expect much more! (The beds and kitchen were okay.) 2. The landlord's scam: The landlord was not available to accept the property on the day of departure. As soon as we got home it was claimed that our sauna had been damaged due to overuse. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the sauna and reported the issue immediately due to a power outage. The deposit was withheld. If you read through other comments here, you will discover similar stories. These are dismissed by the landlord as fake and bought, but are consistent with our experiences. My tip: keep your paws off and look for something else.
