Excellent hotel 10 min walk from the old town of Annecy with all its restaurants and bars. We had a mezzanine room with a lake view and this was the perfect room for 4 of us (2 teenagers). Very comfy beds. Free water (still and sparkling) on each floor. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of pastries, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, bacon, eggs, cereals, granola, fresh yogurt and juices. You can sit outside (looking at the lake) or inside. Very modern hotel, very clean and friendly helpful service. The bakery downstairs was very handy for freshly made rolls, baguettes, pastries to take to the beaches. I would definitely stay here again. And Annecy is such a beautiful part of the world!
Great location opposite the lake and close to the city center. Spacious, newly renovated room with a nice bathroom and partial lake/rooftop view. Breakfast was excellent, and the terrace is perfect for sunrise or sunset. Friendly staff and nice ambience. Only drawback: the bed was a bit too firm for our liking. Overall, a lovely stay in Annecy!
Stayed at this hotel during the Annecy Animation Film Festival. It is not ideal location for the festival purpose, but easy to manage because of Uber. It is walkable to the old town but there is no shaded sidewalk for the majority part. The hotel itself is kept up to date. And design is functional. Rooms are small just to fit the big beds. But the loft design makes it airy. There is no space to put an opened luggage. So you would need to actually unpack and use the closet spaces. The view outside of the windows is gorgeous, and I liked the breakfast. Most staff are friendly except one lady at the front desk. I went to break a big bill for tipping but she acted as if I was a beggar. Also the cleanness of the hotel is questionable: I had noticed that the housekeeper never wash the glasses, either the drinking glass or the glass for brushing teeth. I had to use my own dish soap to clean the drinking glasses everyday — you definitely need those drinking glasses because they only give you two refillable glass bottles of water, and you would refill the water bottle yourself in the hallway. Tips for getting from Geneva Airport to Annecy: We used 3Valley’s private transfer, it was very reliable and much cheaper than other private transfer services.
