Le Petit Chateau

We were there for a wedding. It went off beautifully. Every contingency was covered. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It catered for disabled people with accessible rooms that weren't too far from the events taking place. So no long trudge to get there. The room was comfortable and very clean. Even had green teas and Earl Grey in the room! The food was outstanding and covered all dietary needs, not with just a piece of limp lettuce and a bit of cheese. Great variety. Highly recommend.

Married my husband here and it was perfection. Stayed the night before the wedding and had a meal, walked the grounds and generally made the most of the beautiful venue and location which were all fab! The staff during the evening before and the wedding day were absolutely brilliant, couldn't have asked for more. The food is delicious, the entire place is gorgeous, and I would get married here all over again! The rooms are comfortable, clean and have character.

Myself and my husband had an amazing trip here for our 10 year anniversary. When we arrived it didn’t look how we imagined. It was truly deceptive on approaching. We were checked in by the lovely Annie on reception. She was so warm and friendly and we were told where to go and how to get around. Not long after check in, we went down for our pre-booked evening meal. I recommend prebooking before arriving at the hotel, as they do get busy. The very nice Chloe came over to serve us. She asked if we’re just having a get away or there for a special occasion. When we told her it was for our 10 year anniversary, she came back with two glasses of Prosecco on the house. Such a nice touch. We ordered our food, and it didn’t take long to arrive at all. It was the most incredible vegan charcuterie board I’ve ever had. Everything tasted incredible. After the meal, we took our drinks outside to the beautiful gardens and enjoyed the seats by the fire pit. Our room was warm and cosy with a fab array of high quality drink and snack items. We had a very comfortable night sleep, which we don’t always when we stay in hotels. On check in, we had booked a breakfast time slot, which we were early for in the morning, but they were more than happy to seat us. Ian, who served us was really friendly (he had been there the night before to box up some of my meal, as I couldn’t quite get through it all). The breakfast was really high quality and a great way to start the day. We really didn’t want to leave. Myself and my husband are already planning a return trip. Thanks to all the staff that made it a great stay. We had been shown around the wedding area (just out of sheer curiosity as we are already married). It was stunning. I now need to find a friend to talk into getting hitched here!!!
