Le Pondy Beach & Lake Resort

We stayed at Le Pondy for two nights in their luxury pool villa, and it was such an amazing experience. The resort has a peaceful, calming vibe, with rustic yet charming interiors that blend beautifully with the natural surroundings. Located right alongside the beach, it offers the perfect mix of serenity and comfort. Our villa felt completely homelike — so spacious that we never wanted to leave. The open bathroom gave a beautiful sense of living with nature, and the private pool with a convenient kitchenette added to the luxury. Breakfast was a lovely mix of a classic English spread and delicious South Indian options, with plenty of variety and everything tasting great. A truly relaxing and memorable stay.

Bali vibes in Pondicherry! The rooms were spacious and exuded an old-money kind of luxury. The highlight of the resort was the private beach — clean, peaceful, and completely free of outsiders. A dedicated lifeguard was always nearby, keeping an eye on us at both the beach and the pool. Which made us feel safe Speaking of the pool, it was one of the cleanest I’ve experienced. There’s even a built-in counter where you can order food without leaving the water — a lovely touch! The food was decent with a good variety on the menu. The staff were friendly and we were greeted with a cold/warm towels with an healthy welcome juice Overall, the experience was absolutely worth it.

The location, the private beach is the highlight. The beach is well maintained, cleaned daily and has a guard on duty. The resort is also well maintained. Staff were super helpful and provided a warm hospitality. Only area of improvement is the food quality and taste. Its a hit or a miss. Overall, a fantastic stay!
