This is the second time we stayed in this guesthouse, the first time 7 years ago. It is truly an oasis of peace in beautiful surroundings. An excellent guest house, furnished with great taste. Very friendly hosts. The breakfast was excellent, with homemade yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange juice and pastries. We enjoyed the pool and the garden.
We had a wonderful stay here before driving through the Loire valley. Warm hospitality. Lovely building and gardens. Large rooms. Breakfast was over the top, with local cheeses, coffee, teas, fresh fruit from the garden and local farmers market, usw. top Sancerre wineries and restaurants a short drive away.
Definitely the friendliest place I know in France. The host not only provided a cosy, unique room with all commodities we needed and a marvellous breakfast, but also technical support and he finally brought us to the train station. The only drawback was the noise, mainly from the clock tower which lets your day begin at 7am.
