Le Relais du Moulin Hôtel de Charme & Spa

We had a great time at Relais du moulin! The place is a gem, with a nice and peaceful garden. Bungalows are quite spacious. I must say that we were very surprised by the professionally of staff, this hotel was top level. The restaurant if one of the best on the island, so better to make reservations in advance since externals can also reserve and come (food was sublime). The pool bar is also very cool for a drink after dinner (also here better to reserve). My only small suggestion would be to adjust the shower of the bathroom - since it’s an open shower without door the water can sometimes expand - and do something for mosquitos. Lovely well equipped hotel with an appealing patio and swimming pool area, excellent fancy restaurant for dinner, and friendly bar with inventive drinks and good bar snacks. Walking distance to several nice beaches and a great pizza restaurant. Driving distance to two towns with good restaurant, bar and ice cream options, Saint Anne and Saint Francois. Our room was half of a small bungalow, very clean, spacious, well equipped, modern bathroom with walk-in shower, daily room servicing, except there needs to be a soap holder installed in the shower area. Also, the mini fridge seemed barely cold. Friendly and experienced professional staff. Limited options on bar menu, for example, if you’d like to have a salad or something light. Most items were fried or charcuterie. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning next year.

5 stars for the waitresses and the female barkeepers, they were such kind to me and so beautiful women. They are the reason, that this hotel is still working with fantastic reputations, the management has to pay them much more money. The "alcohol free detox drink" from one of the female barkeepers is the best one I ever had. The reception and the management were arrogant and they appeared in front of the other staff, if they were something better. I had big problems with one barkeeper who seems jealous and was angry every time to me. For example he didn't let me sit on a special place, because he told it would be raining. But at sky weren't any dark clouds it was a star clear night. On another day he was aggressive, because he wanted to forbid me to drink something, because he had some problems with my self-confident character. That will have consequences for your hotel and makes my stay all at all very uncomfortable.
