Le Royal Hotel Lyon MGallery Collection

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The rooms although small were beautifully decorated and clean. The person at the reception desk who checked us in was helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good with several options and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our BEST accommodation on our month-long European honeymoon. The location, service, comfort, breakfast… all top-tier and unmatched. We loved the great location right on Place Bellecour, it only took a ten minute walk to get to Old Town which was our favorite area to visit in Lyon. The service at this hotel was warm and welcoming with the concierge answering all questions we had. The room was quite spacious and the bed was so comfy we felt like we were laying on a cloud! Highly recommend! (PS there is a great selfie mirror in the elevator 🤣)

Very nice hotel with a great location close to the old town and city center. The room was fine, but there was no door or screen for the shower in the bathroom, making it impossible to shower without getting the entire room wet. The staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast offered a good selection of options, including eggs made to order. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly, but sometimes a little too eager to help — they should give guests a moment to settle in and consider their options.
