Le Sabot de Vénus

Super good apartments to go skiing in Val Thorens. We were a group of 11 and had a great time there. Every room had it's own shower, all double rooms, everything clean, new, and well located. We couldn't ask for anything else. If we come back, we'll repeat here. Thank you very much!

The staff were excellent, somehow I believed we were booked into a chalet not a 3rd floor 5 bedroom apartment. The bedrooms were quite small with very little storage supplied, no WC in 4 of the 5 ensuites. 2 WC's were located in the hallway. There was a sauna but it was shared between the many appointments and needed booking in hour blocks. The ski locker was just large enough to fit 10 sets of skis, but only 3 keys supplied between 10 of us.

Great location. Genuinely ski in and ski out. Handy for bars and shops. Reasonable quality accommodation. The bathrooms could do with more shelves above the sink and in the shower but I’m not taking a point off for that!!! An update having returned to the same apartment and room 2 years on - Jan 2025. There are several faults, not relating to the tour operator that we booked with, in the apartment. Including a bedroom door that will not shut. It has been escalated to the residence but does not seem to be a priority for them.
