Le Saint Eloi

It's the best most welcoming restaurant. The chef is not Michelin star for nothing. Exceptional!!! And above all the hospitality is unrivalled! I love this place and the people!

We booked to stay here as our half Way point for travelling back to the UK. We chose as the reviews of the restaurant were good. We arrived and unfortunately they didn’t have a record of our booking, which I had made by phone 24 hrs previously. Thankfully it wasn’t a problem and there was still a table available in the restaurant. We also have a small dog which they welcome but one of their own two dogs decided to become aggressive to her. They immediately made sure the dogs put in a different area. The rooms were good with nice thick towels and complementary herbal teas, French biscuits and fresh fruit. The meal in the restaurant was excellent! Couldn’t fault the food at all and Xavier was helpful in choosing a wine to complement our different dishes. I have rated as 4 star due to the dog incident but definitely a 5 star meal.

Very disappointing, not worth the money! 117€ for a tiny, dirty room. The room was very dirty, towels with old make up spots, spiders and other insects everywhere on the walls, the floor was full of hair,... especially in times of COVID-19 you expect clean rooms and an extra eye on hygiene - but this was missing completely. They even worked without wearing masks. The temperatures during our stay were up to 40 degrees in that area, so we were looking for a place with an air con to get a good rest. The hotel advertised on aircon in all rooms, but they could not provide that service in any of their rooms. The room was badly insulated.
