Le Scuderie Castello Monaci

We had an amazing stay, extending it from one to three nights as we loved it so much. I would give more than 5 stars if possible! From the get-go, Giuseppe helped us plan a winery tour and spa experience while here, then was an impeccable and friendly host on arrival (and our tour guide). The rooms are extremely comfortable and the pool and grounds a gorgeous place to relax outside. Francesca did lovely massages for us. Breakfast is plentiful and varied with both sweet and savory. Very close to about any day trips you might want to do in Puglia. I really hope we can return someday soon! Recommend to come in a shoulder season for better prices and availability, and perfect moderate weather. Note there are weddings in the castle every day, so there tends to be activity around, but we didn't find anything too loud or too late (and generally it's a happy fun crowd).

Great place! Beautiful castle (b&b is in the stables attached to the castle). The wines are great quality for the price. The breakfast is very Italian (sweet), we were not used tot this, still very nice! Rooms are very clean. Note: every day there is a wedding at the castle which can cause for some music/noise during the evening. This did not affect the quality of our stay, just know it's not completely quiet in the evening. Tip: have dinner in the castle at night, it was gorgeous!

Our initial intention was to stay for one night but we extended our stay for three nights because we were impressed with the place so much. The grounds of the hotel and the winery are gorgeous! Rafaela and Pino were most gracious hosts, very attentive. This is a popular wedding venue, so there is music late into the night but we didn’t mind it. For dinner, we went to the village of Guagnano on Pino’s recommendation, and we had the best grilled branzino there.
