Amazing Hotel. We stayed here in 2022 for our 10th wedding anniversary. I didn’t want to leave the hotel. The room was great, stylish and comfortable. Amazing views. Service is outstanding and comparable to other 5 starts hotels we have stayed. I loved the food, the pool and drinks. Hotel staff is very attentive and we’re always ready to help us coordinating activities. We rented a scooter to explore the coast, spent time in the pool and enjoyed the restaurant. Very recommended if you want to splurge. It’s a little bit overpriced.
To be fair I’ll start by saying- I did not end up staying. I booked a room for almost 4000$ a night, for 3 nights. I made a mistake with our dates, and they were fully booked for an extra night, so I had to book one night in a different hotel, than the next day I was supposed to arrive. However, I still had a reservation to a restaurant that was supposed to pick me up from this hotel, although it was a day before checking in. We arrived at the hotel and asked Sara, the person at the entrance to call the restaurant let them know we’re here. She immediately answered I’m not allowed in the hotel, it’s only for guests. A. How do you know we’re not guests ?????? You didn’t even ask! B. When I told her I’m checking in tomorrow and I can give her my info she didn’t care and was very rude. Needless to say I canceled my reservation. It’s a shame that you allow yourself to treat your customers this way. Maybe because you know we pay those prices anyways you don’t care- but you should care. Less expensive hotels were much more nice! Sara should not stand at the entrance if she doesn’t know how to treat people.
Not 5 star hospitality for Americans. Lots of workers, but they all have poor English. The restaurant is a scam with their deceptive pricing. Expect to pay $200+ for a dish and be ignored for 3 hours. The pool is too crowded and the sauna didn’t get hot enough to anything (like 160 F). Good breakfast. Decent gym but only very light weights.
