-Friendly staff -nice vibes and peacefull mood - good location. -maybe i get used to Dubai standards but the hotel requires an overall design innovation and repair if you care about details. - surprisingly the A/C is not working -animation at night was amazing. -clean pool. -Room was Okay but the bed was squeaking, drain was partially blocked and flooded the bathroom. The bottom line, you will enjoy it if you disregard some un-perfection
Chaotic, unorganised, describes this place kindly. I thought the negative reviews were a one in 100, so I was wrong. Most of the time you’re on a queue trying to get something, often someone manually doing something like pouring a 50ml cup of a drink at the time or handling a doughnuts for 100+ people one at the time. Generally limited and rude staff, hot drinks, shortage of ice, diluted drinks with water that don’t taste anything e.g. tequila, air conditioners barely work and limited to 30C, internet only works closer to some places like reception and bar near the beach. Nothing is repaired properly, pool has broken bits and even pointing rusty screws on the floor, no safety administration by the pool they often sit and watch the worst to happen, dirty floors around the pool seems just normal, most of the equipment should be in a museum 20 years ago. PROS - The beach is nice if not infested with jelly fish that do sting! - The food is good if you get to eat something people will leave for you coz man they go at food like the last in life!. - The staff will treat you well if you paid them tips. - There’re 2 train stations close by that can get you to Monastir and Sousse every hour and only costs around DT0.4 P/P
I am writing this letter to formally report and request immediate intervention regarding the unacceptable degradation of services at Bella Vista Hotel in Monastir, which is classified as a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, my recent stay at this hotel was deeply disappointing and far below the standards expected of an establishment of this category. I would like to highlight several serious concerns: 1. Late room check-in: While the official check-in time is listed as 14:00, many guests, including myself, were only given access to their rooms after 16:00, with no explanation or compensation offered. 2. Non-functioning air conditioning units in an entire wing of rooms – specifically from room 1330 to 1399 – despite the extremely hot weather conditions. 3. Poor hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area: During breakfast, we encountered dirty utensils (spoons, knives), food remnants from previous meals (old chicken pieces, bones), and late cleaning of tables and the buffet area. 4. Low food quality: For example, the croissants offered at breakfast taste more like plain bread, lacking any of the expected texture or flavor. The mixed salad (cucumber, tomato, onion, and pepper) often has an unpleasant smell, possibly due to being pre-mixed with vinegar for too long. 5. Soft drinks served warm during lunch and dinner, with no signs of refrigeration. 6. Unreliable Wi-Fi service: Wi-Fi is practically unavailable in most areas and rooms. The access code provided at the reception does not work, and the secondary open network frequently disconnects. 7. Although we appreciate the inspection visit by your team today at 11:00 a.m., no improvement was noticed afterward in the lunch service or general cleanliness.
