Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, and the breakfast included was very good ( you get tickets to go to a nearby restaurant that has a breakfast buffet). Would stay again!
I booked a room for four nights on Booking.com. After a late check-in I was placed in a space located below the level of the floor that the room entrance door was on (Parigi room). I had a feeling as if I was staying in a basement. It was evident that the given space was a repurposed storage or utility space. It was large and decently furnished but a dark space with low ceilings. As such it felt claustrophobic with an unpleasant odour coming through a small window facing an enclosed courtyard. This space was unacceptable for me and it was not a room that I booked. I wrote a complaint the same night which was never answered. Next morning I asked for a new room and got one which was good. Other than that I didn't have any issues with the accommodation. Due to its central location it can be very noisy at night. It was possible to leave luggage after check-out and before departure from Florence. I'm sharing this review here because it was not possible to do it on Booking.com. For any deals purchased as partner deals it is not possible to write reviews on Booking.com.
Hello, We stayed there for one night in July 2025. The quadruple room we had reserved was great at first — spacious, with excellent air conditioning, which was much needed given it was around 40°C outside! Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes, the electricity went out — no power at all. I went to the front desk, and they said they would call an electrician. We waited… and waited… but nothing happened. Eventually, they offered to split our family of four into two smaller rooms, which they seemed to think was a reasonable solution. We didn’t agree, so we ended up staying together in a smaller room that didn’t have enough beds. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep well. After returning from our trip, I contacted them to request a refund, given that we didn’t get the room we booked and had a poor experience. They refused. Very disappointing customer service — and be warned: power outages can happen, and you might be left without support.
