Stay away from this place as it's not even a hotel! I booked this place through booking.com where they had listed as a "hotel", but it was not. It's a very old residence place where they took the main room and divided it into smaller rooms where they advertise it as "hotel". There is no front reception nor any help if you need it. Lastly, this place lacks extreme security where I did not feel safe during my stay.
Think twice. No A/C and far from everything; you will spend time and money on transport. Host is never there and dishonest; pretends not to speak English. He told us the a/c would be turned on; it wasn't. He returned when we complained about the heat and showed us how to operate the breaker panel (yes you read that correctly); the a/c never came on. We asked for another room and were told they were booked; we never saw nor heard any other guest there in two days. We called our travel agent for help and they were told they have a/c but would not turn it on because it was cool outside. Opening a window means sleeping with allergens and noise. My daughter got very sick. Host never returned. We left early. It nearly ruined our trip except that we found a real hotel in a much better location for the same price.
The room was like a 1960's bachelor's pad with the colors updated. Shower controls are on the other side of the rain shower head, so you get some cold on you to turn it on. Jacuzzi tub didn't work which he blamed on two USB chargers being plugged into a circuit on the other side of the room. No phones plugged into them, just the charging cable! The guy tried to extort us out of an extra 121 euro. He ended up kicking us out (changing the entry codes) even after we finally agreed to pay it (didn't want to find another room for one night). I'm guessing he double booked the room like other reviewers experienced and was looking for a reason to get rid of us. It was the only bad experience we had in our 2.5 weeks in Italy.
