I stayed here with 3 guests in the 2-bedroom suite, which boasted exceptional view of Bangkok. We had a great experience with every staff here - Ham helped us with check in and was extremely pleasant and professional. The room service staff was speedy and nice. My guests had a great time. Highly recommended.
Nice location to discover Bangkok. The hotel has seen its best years. The mall which is attached to the hotel is totally empty, which is scary and not very welcoming. The gym is very small and worn down, no changing rooms and showers available. The pool is very small with no space for real swimming. Toilets and changing rooms at the pool were under construction. Rooms were spacious, but windows did not really protect from the noise of the air condition on the balconies and from the traffic. View from the bar is incredible, drinks are outrageously expensive. Overall an average experience.
The prices for the suite were excellent, but the rooms are seriously outdated. Living room is very dark. The only TV is in the bedroom and is extremely old and the size of a computer monitor. I felt I had been transported back to the 1980s. Service from all staff was amazing. Every balcony has two huge AC compressor units in them so if your AC is on, you're getting some serious hot wind blowing straight at you while you stand there, not to mention the noise right outside your bedroom.... Location is great if you're exploring by the river, otherwise we spent hours in taxis trying to get down Sukhumvit. Never went up to the rooftop as there was a constant parade of people going up and down, not to mention I dont want to pay $50 for a cocktail. There are plenty of stunning rooftops in this city and they really need to wise up that one day the photo op wont be worth the spend... Once again, the staff are superb and the breakfast is pretty good too but I cant understand why they make boiled eggs to order. It takes ages at the egg counter!
