Catch a cab anywhere in Chengdu from here. This hotel had some of the friendliest & helpful staff of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip around China. Although the views are of the busy intersection, the rooms with windows had a good amount of space and were clean. I would stay here again.
Great hotel if you want to go out and explore Chengdu and Sichuan province, comfortable beds and nicely done out. Bathroom lovely, huge shower too and powerful. Free drinks in the minibar was a nice touch. Free panda soft toy on arrival. Great selection at breakfast. Also, and strangely, an unexpected knock came on the door each night at around 8pm, where a beautiful woman delivered two biscuits. Definitely a new one for me, and they were tasty too.
Upon arrival, refrigerator, A/C, and router were all broken. The maintenance guy came in and explained that the hotel actually controls the temperature and the A/C units in the rooms were not functional and were just for show. Room was obviously a smoker room and bathroom was quite dirty.
