Legacy Ottoman Hotel Istanbul Old City

From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The building itself is beautiful — full of charm yet modern and fresh inside. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we could need: toiletries, towels, even slippers. But what really made it special were the little touches — a complimentary plate of local sweets, bottled water, coffee and tea waiting for us in the room. It immediately made us feel at home. The staff was warm, kind, and always ready to help without being intrusive. The location was perfect — close to key attractions but tucked away enough to feel peaceful at night. Considering the price, this place is a true value. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but few manage to balance comfort, service, and atmosphere this well. I’m already recommending it to friends and would absolutely choose it again for my next visit to Istanbul

We highly recommend this hotel! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful — exactly what you need in a bustling city like Istanbul. From the moment we were welcomed by the receptionist, Nadeem, very nice guy, our experience was outstanding. Every aspect of our stay, from check-in to check-out, was truly delightful. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend this place to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Booked a junior suite with a jacuzzi. Overall below satisfactory experience, definitely wouldn't give the hotel or the review 5* Sometimes did not provide the basic things in the rooms like water/sugar/spoons, etc. The towels were not clean and the jacuzzi was broken. Some of the toiletries in the bathroom were missing too. They changed us to a different room, the jacuzzi water smelt really bad. After lots of complaints the guest relations manager made some effort to clean the jacuzzi and decorate the room. I feel like this should have been done without the fuss/complaints especially for a "5* hotel". The room cards stops working every time you leave the hotel, so silly. Then you have to go to reception to reactive the card. The breakfast was very average, didn't bother eating after the first day. The hotel restaurant is a joke, £16 for a burger. Go outside, there's lots of nicer places to eat decent prices too. On a positive note, a good location, views from our rooms were really nice and location of the hotel is very good. Close to trams and bus stops so easy to go commute around.
