Legere Hotel Luxembourg

Stayed here for one night at the end of our Roadtrip. The hotel has nice big open rooms with a good AC. Friendly staff, nice bar/restaurant and I was able to park by the entrance (not always the case). The photos on the wall of the hotel are sometimes a bit to much. Further points is that at night we heard a couple planes since we close to the airport but it was not annoying and going to Luxembourg City can take some time. Overall a good stay, I would return.

The breakfast buffet was quite good, had cold and hot food. 👍🏻 The hotel was quite big, clean and quiet. The mini fridge was in the bathroom below the sink, if anyone is going to stay there, you know where it is now as it's not obvious and you'll be confused, searching for it for a while. The charging ports and sockets are awkwardly located on the side of the lamp table, you'll need to push the mattress a little bit so your cables won't break and the plug fits as well. The hotel has some scary large images, literally freaked out some kids when they came out of the lift and looked up, even I got scared, imagine the kids. Lastly, the lamp side table and telephone were dusty, I hope this is improved.

Honestly, for the price, I was quite disappointed. We booked a family room for our young family of four. To our surprise, the room only had one double bed. We had to ask for separate beds for our kids. These came each at an additional cost. We also booked the dog friendly option and again another charge. Since we specified in our booking 4 people and a dog, we were truly surprised about the additional charges on top of the already hefty room fee. The parking was also at an additional cost, not free for guests. At the end, we almost paid double what we expected to in all these hidden charges. We won’t be staying here again.
