We had a wonderful stay at this stunning lodge during our honeymoon in Tassie. The room was luxurious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could possibly need — plus a complimentary bottle of champagne and even a massage chair! The location is truly something special, nestled right in the heart of the wilderness — it felt like we were completely immersed in nature. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. While the food was on the pricier side, it was absolutely delicious. Dinner was served a bit later than expected, but there were plenty of fun activities to keep us entertained in the meantime, including a games room and animal feeding sessions. We’ll definitely be back — this place made our honeymoon unforgettable!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay...completely away from everything. We loved our stay here but a couple of points... - the rooms are noisy due to the heating system they use...and kept us awake (we were there in winter so needed the heating) - dining staff just need more training especially on dinner service as they forget your orders, they forget to serve the wine ordered, they just need to up their game on observation...especially when dinner is by staged bookings, so not everyone arrives at the sane time... - the food served is high standard - breakfast is great - beautiful fires - family friendly Would definitely stay again

It's a cute little retreat. The rooms are pretty cold and the heater does very little. Dinner at the restaurant was really disappointing, super slow service and really pricey ($60 two courses) for such low quality food. Beef brisket sauce was far too rich, add roux to tone it down. The sticky date pudding took over 40 minutes to come out but it was great (maybe it was baked to order?) The dish should include more ice cream to help balance out the sweetness of the pudding. The free breakfast was decent; Could serve larger portions considering "Its the most important meal of the day".
