This is a really nice hotel! Breakfast was very tasty and had five different courses. It was a special food experience. The rooms are big and we really had everything we need here. I was pleasantly surprised to find complimentary a set of luxury toiletries waiting for me in the room. On top of that, the hotel provided a unique toiletry bag made from palm leaves, filled with essentials a lovely gesture that made me feel truly welcomed all the small details were so nice to see The best part was the infinity pool. You can see the rice fields and Mount Agung from there. The view is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They always tried to make us feel comfortable. We had a great time and we really recommend this hotel!
Today together with my husband we were able to use the facilities of Lempuang Hotel for a day. Lovely airing and we were allowed to use the adults only section of the beautiful infinity pool. We enjoyed it immensely. But what incredibly sweet staff all. We will keep you in our hearts❤️ You are all so sweet and warm. Unfortunately only 5 stars....we give you 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😍👌
Stunning views and lovely local team We had a nice stay at East Bali Volcano Resort (=Hotel Lempuyang and also Villa Drooms belongs to the property). The location is absolutely stunning – perched on a hillside with sweeping views of the volcano and the surrounding rice terraces. The atmosphere is peaceful and romantic. The rooms are very nice - a mix of modern and Balinese. Nearby you can find Taman Ujung (water palace) and a local market (without tourists). There are many animals you can hear at night: birds, dogs, insects, roosters - nature calling. The rooms are stylish, totally clean and comfortable. One of the biggest highlights was the genuinely polite and welcoming staff, especially the Balinese women who run all the daily operations - like Tami. They were most often smiling, kind and eager to help and some of them even spoke very very good English. It seemed that this place is not run by foreign investors which would be a good thing. The breakfast was fresh and lovingly prepared, delicious, with a beautiful view to enjoy it with. The simple fruit juices were a little less creative than we had in other resorts and mixed with a lot of ice and often rather sour fruits. While the service in the restaurant was excellent, we found that the prices for lunch and dinner didn’t match the quality of the ingredients/food. When you pay a premium price per night in a remote region and opt for half board, it’s only natural to expect premium meals that are more than just “good” or “okay”- you expect at least some dishes to be very good. Unfortunately, many of the dishes felt quite basic for us and appeared to be made from low-cost ingredients, yet they were priced on the menu as if in a high class restaurant in Bali. As if somebody was trying to safe money while having premium prices for everything on the menu. This felt out of place, especially given how easily and enormously cheap, fresh, high-quality ingredients can be sourced locally from traditional markets. We had done a lot of excursions with good value from Ubud before, so we didn’t do any of the tours offered by the hotel, so we can’t tell you anything about that. (but a price list is available in the room) All in all: A beautiful, peaceful hotel with lovely Balinese hospitality and incredible views. With some improvements in the kitchen, it could probably become one of East Bali’s hidden gems.
