We were very pleased with our stay. We came as a large family group (and therefore booked 4 rooms). The rooms were surprisingly huge and the bathroom even more so! What we loved about the property: - Service was very, very prompt. Housekeeping here could give the butler service at the St Regis a run for their money! I called for extra towels and they came within minutes, no kidding. - There is a balcony that is accessible in the room. - Fairly convenient location near Zhongshan station. Walkable distance (~20mins) to Ningxia Night Market, and a few stops direct to Raohe Night Market. Family Mart and 7-11 just round the corner, and fast food chains as well. - Rooms were huge. There were lots of chairs, sofas, wardrobe space and a small kitchenette with an induction cooker and microwave. Facilities that we appreciated: - There is an afternoon “tea” daily at the lobby m, up till 8pm, with drinks and snacks. It’s not a spread, but still a nice touch. - Each room has a washer/dryer, and they provide washing pods on a daily basis. - Electronic toilet seats with a bidet! Things that could have been a little better: - The bathroom ventilator/warmer could have been better at warming it up. - Water pressure is a little on the low side; there is a noticeable drop if you’re filling the bath and someone else uses the sink at the same time. - They ran out of extra memory foam pillows. If you’re traveling as a family and don’t need facilities of a 5-star, this is a lovely property to stay at. (We don’t really need a buffet breakfast in Taipei, nor a pool in winter!)
We stayed at the Leofoo residences for a month visiting relatives and were pleased at our decision to opt for a nicer & larger room - but less services - over a conventional hotel. Our 1 bedroom residence had a huge bathroom & a small kitchen, which allowed us to settle more than if we stayed in a hotel. Our room had massive storage as well. LF's staff was also super helpful. The only downside, which the owners could easily fix, is the ancient tech: old, worn-out televisions, no access to NETFLIX & spotty internet service. Great location in the busy & trendy Zhongshan/ Nanjing district.
Dont know why its really hard to have hot water. Front desk what their safety set up of the hot water rule. But all i want is to take a hot shower! Standing in the shower room for 5 mins and not even any warm water?! Thank you for make my day and trip.
