Leonardo Boutique Hotel Krakow City Center

Our stay was amazing. The room was clean and the bathroom was super spacious. All the staff, throughout our 4 night stay, was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great and I liked the option to opt out of a room service for a glass of wine. Also, it was great to be greeted by a flavoured water and snacks at the entrance and have an option of having various games at the hotel.

For a 4 star hotel that seemed inviting and welcoming when we booked. My experience was a 1. Me and my partner had such a disappointing experience with this hotel, on our anniversary might I add. I’m not one to normally complain, but this experience was anything but positive & nice. Days before we were even meant to arrive, I had messaged and asked if everything was okay with our room and that we would be arriving extremely late after a 7hr train. To which we were assured everything was ready and they were awaiting our arrival on Saturday 2nd August. Once we arrived we checked straight to reception to where no one was found or around for 5-10 minutes. Eventually someone came out and we told them about our booking to which he looked at the computer and said “oh ****” I knew this couldn’t be good. Somehow the rooms have been overbooked? Even when I messaged previously to make sure everything was okay. We were told there was one room which was below what we had paid for, no refund mentioned at all? But a free drink thrown our way (we’re not big drinkers) simply not good enough, even though he apologised and hadn’t been working there long. He didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Again, probably not his fault, but no management around for situations like this is extremely poor and shocking. After being told this room was small but had a double bed, we were both shattered and decided to just take it… as soon as we got to our room, it was like a shoe box. And not even a double bed’ you could fit 1 person in it. We had no body wash and the room was freezing. After deciding that this wasn’t good enough and we wanted something done, we got the response of “we cannot do anything, contact booking . com” I have an no response. But yet, being told by this hotel that everything was fine with our booking a few days beforehand, even though I booked this weeks ago! I expected more. After releasing nothing was going to be done, me and my partner decided to leave it. The room was so small we could hear almost everything going on outside our room and had to be the most uncomfortable sleep we have had. Giving up we left and checked out early, only 1 apology. I’m extremely disappointed as I had read reviews before picking this hotel and was impressed. But I won’t be returning nor will I be recommending this to anyone. Photos attached below , £200 we paid and got this due to an overbooking. :(

My stay at Hotel Leonardo City Cebter was a complete disappointment. The room was shockingly small and untidy, giving the impression that cleanliness is not a priority here. It felt cramped, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. What made things worse was the incompetent and disorganized staff. From check-in to basic requests, the personnel seemed completely untrained and uninterested in helping guests. Communication was a struggle, and any attempt to resolve issues was met with confusion or indifference. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location, which is conveniently central. But that alone is not enough to justify staying here. If you care about comfort, cleanliness, or basic hospitality, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere
