The hotel is well located, close to the Termini metro station. The service is very good, and the breakfast offers many options — but it’s best to go early, as the place gets crowded around 9 a.m. The room was good, with a decent amount of space. However, the bathroom didn’t have a window, which wasn’t ideal because it stayed very humid after showers. Also, the shower didn’t have a full glass enclosure, so water would spill onto the floor near the toilet. I believe the bathroom could be in better condition. The rooms were always well cleaned, but it’s worth noting that there was a limited supply of soap and toilet paper. These are small details — overall, I do recommend the hotel.
If you are planning to visit Italy and you have several stops and city, this is the best hotel to stay at in Rome. The location is near the train station. The area is quiet and surrounded with restaurants and small markets. The only negative thing is that it’s away from the city center. You need to take a taxi or the subway to see the city. Rooms are clean and updated. Spacious bathroom. The staff are very helpful and gave me an upgrade for my room because we stayed 6 nights.
Disappointing Stay - Not Worth the Price or the Hassle I had high hopes for Leonardo Termini Hotel given its location, but unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The room was shockingly small, so cramped that there was barely any room for two people and our luggage. To make matters worse, I could hear running water from the pipes in other rooms throughout the night, which made it difficult to get any rest. The accommodations felt very outdated and not at all what I expected from a modern hotel. It didn’t feel comfortable or welcoming, and I genuinely didn’t want to stay longer. Although I had prepaid for five nights, I ended up checking out after just one night. Despite leaving early and explaining my concerns, the hotel refused to refund me for the unused nights. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or hassle-free stay in Rome. There are definitely better options nearby that offer more space, better service, and greater value for money.
