Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center

"I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The staff were amazing, and the hotel is clean and organized. It's a bit distant from the city center, but the train station is not far, so you can be in Amsterdam in 30 minutes. Definitely recommend!

I stayed at Leonardo for 2 weeks and had a great experience. The room was spacious, comfortable, & offered great value for the price. I appreciated the coffee maker inside the room. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, especially the woman with the curly hair ☺️ However, I was disappointed with the room service. While they did a basic cleaning, I noticed that certain areas were not thoroughly cleaned. There were still small traces of dust and missed spots that should have been taken care of. Additionally, used bed sheets weren’t replaced promptly, which was a bit inconvenient. With a little more attention to detail from housekeeping, this hotel would be an excellent choice. I hope management takes note of this, as everything else about my stay was great.

Pros Very friendly and helpful staff Good location for city centre shopping. Close to lots of restaurants and not very far from the Almere centrum station. Lovely views from the room we stayed in . Luggage storage facilities was a plus Cons This is not a 4 star hotel. I would say 2.5 -3 stars . It’s summer and the rooms are really hot. No air conditioning. They had to bring in an extra fan. Tv did not work. Fridge was not cold. More of a slightly cool box. Hotel exterior could be kept cleaner The staff seemed rushed off their feet so two separate times we asked for things, there was a long delay in getting it done . This is probably personal preference but the rooms were too dimly lit.
