Leonardo Hotel Berlin KU'DAMM

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was great and close to a lot of things. The metro/underground trains were (maybe) a 8 minute walk away. Taxis were readily available if we needed them and the ladies at reception booked them when we needed one. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had air-conditioning we could control, which was great! The breakfast was continental and a good selection. The area around the hotel was very safe and we never had any issues. A lot of lovely restaurants nearby to eat in. Would come definitely come back again!

Worn down hotel. Poor acoustic insulation makes you hear other guests taking showers, walking and sometimes even talking. It apparently has a new wing, but we were accommodated in the old part. It could be a good option if you adjust your expectations and don’t want to spend much time in the room. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent.

The best feature of this hotel is its location — a very nice neighborhood with good public transportation, shops, and restaurants nearby. However, we had issues with the room. The first room was very bright in the morning, starting around 5 a.m., and we couldn’t sleep well. We changed rooms (thanks to the reception staff for their support), but the new room also had problems: the automatic roll-down curtain wasn’t working, so we experienced the same issue with sunlight and brightness. The hotel is old and has carpeted floors, which is something we prefer to avoid in the future. Overall, our experience was fine, but not remarkable.
