No problems in check-in, we had two separate reservations, however they merged it without problems and we stayed in the room throughout the whole stay. Since we were traveling a lot between the cities, the location near the central station and airport bus was also perfect for us.
I enjoyed my stay here with Leonardo Dortmund. The location is very convenient - walking distance to the main train station of Dortmund (~5 min). The bed is big, and I slept well :) The price is relatively cheap for the service and quality. Breakfast is available until noon, which is good for people like me who would like to stay in bed till late morning. Staff I met were kind and helpful.
The good: Very clean. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Close to public transportation and many places to eat and shop. The bad: Our room was hot and they could not seem to fix it. We told them multiple times. The breakfast looked very good but a bit pricey, so we went out every morning instead.
