Leonardo Hotel Frankfurt City South

Overall I had a great experience, staff are so nice and helpful, hotel itself and the rooms are old but the atmosphere is peaceful. Here are the issues I had: I reached Frankfurt at the airport and specifically picked this hotel because of the shuttle bus they mentioned on their website, but I waited from 10am to 2 pm and nothing came so had to take a taxi to the hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and only in the first night there was a bottle of sparkling water! I wished they also put a still water for those who just arrived and want to make tea or coffee.

The hotel is suitable for overnight or a short stay. Rooms are tiny and very outdated with narrow beds and not enough space for two people to open their suitcases. As it is located quite far away from the city, the hotel conveniently offers a restaurant, a bar and a small convenience store type of area for sweets and drinks. There’s free water and fruit in the lobby. Also, an ironing room, located on the 6th floor. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet was great with many different choices, including hummus, pates, meats, fermented vegetables and others. The parking area is large. There’s a beautiful park with a lake near by.

Staff is really nice and polite! They're really helpful. The hotel is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. The rooms are old. The biggest problem: the wood has a pretty worn out look. Also the bathroom is just old. It could definitely use a renovation. Besides that, the hotel is really close to the stadium.
