Conveniently located just off the highway, this hotel is perfect for a short stopover. It’s set in a quiet area with plenty of free parking space and offers EV charging. Rooms are spacious, equipped with a large satellite TV, complimentary coffee, and bottled water. While overall clean, a minor issue with bed linen cleanliness (a couple of hairs) was noted. Still, it’s a good value-for-money choice for travelers.
The hotel itself looked modern and clean, and the location was convenient for our visit to Heidelberg. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a serious insect issue in the room. Around midnight, I woke up and turned on the light to find several insects on the floor — some clustered in a corner, others near the bed and in the bathroom. It was genuinely distressing. I went to the reception to report it and asked for another room, but was told the issue likely affected the whole hotel due to the location. Staff did come and remove the bugs, but more appeared later on. Another disappointing aspect was the lack of follow-up regarding an item my mother accidentally left behind. I called the hotel multiple times, and although they said they would check, I never received any update. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the hygiene concerns and poor communication made for a very uncomfortable stay.
As a business traveller - it was very poor hotel experience. Noisy cooling unit in the room, which gurgled all night, even when the cooling was turned off (and which leaked water and made the carpet wet) - so very interrupted sleep and wet socks. My colleagues cooling did not work in his room, so he was uncomfortably hot. No secondary lock on the door - you could see where it had been unscrewed. Breakfast was dire. No bar or restaurant open when we arrived at 5.30pm and so having a beer involved waiting some 5-10 minutes for a member of staff to be phoned for to bring us anything. On the positive : Its location is convenient for visiting the nearby HQ of a global company, and it has a good sized car park.
