Leonardo Hotel Manchester Piccadilly

Ben, covering the reception area when I arrived, was very welcoming and even remembered my name a few hours later when I left to go for a walk. All staff were very polite and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy and had a clean kettle that I was happy to use to make tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent. Very good selection of food and beverages. Everything was clean and the staff continually maintained the cleanliness of the dining area. I ordered a burger for an evening meal to eat in my room and it was deliciously made. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I was very impressed and will definitely stay again.

We’ve just had a fabulous stay at The Leonardo Piccadilly. The location was great, it’s a ten minute walk from the station and a ten minute walk to some excellent bars and restaurants. The bonus was Track Brewing Company being ten minutes walk too. We both slept very well during our two night stay and we enjoyed our breakfast, the fruit salad was perfect. We’d definitely stay at this hotel again, on a high floor - the views across Manchester were excellent.

Mixed experience on our second stay. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the city and surrounding areas, which is a major plus. The room itself was decent—very comfortable bed and warm, inviting decor. However, there were a few issues: the toilet didn’t flush properly, there were some noticeable marks on the walls, and an appliance that was missing a screw. That said, the room was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay overall. Breakfast was included and offered a standard hotel buffet—nothing extravagant, but filling and satisfying. Service was lovely, and a special shoutout to Steve for his attentiveness and friendly manner. All in all, we’d consider returning thanks to the great location and cleanliness, though there are definitely a few areas that could be improved.
