Leonardo Hotel Salzburg Airport

We stayed for one night, as we needed to be at the airport at 4:00 am. This hotel is a great find! The lobby was nice, the staff very friendly, and our room was excellent! Very spacious and comfortable. Conveniently located next to a grocery store, and we also walked just a few minutes to Restaurant Martha for dinner. Only thing lacking was some better air conditioning (ours blew air but was not cold,) but overall a terrific experience.

I only spent one night here. My stay was very pleasant with a smooth check in process. Receptionist was very friendly and we received a very warm welcome of him. The room was very cozy, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable that offered me rich sleep in an silent ambience. Breakfast was good but not included in my rate, it cost 16€ and was good start of the day. I liked the illumination of warm shades in the room and many possibilities how you create your atmosphere in the room through the lighting. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The room was regular, nothing special. Reception staff was really poor. The same people covered the bar, and the reception. They were slow in general, and really slow for a 4 star hotel. At one point we were around 7 people waiting in front of an empty reception. They have only 1 elevator, which would be no big deal in general, but then again, it is a very poor choice for a 4 star hotel. They share the parking lot with Penny, you have to add a card in the windscreen in order to avoid a fine. The "double bed" is actually 2 twin beds put together, with no charging sockets next to it so you have to leave your phone to charge somewhere else. They had only "body&hair shower gel" in the bathroom, no other toiletries. The sink drained really slow, we had to take breaks in order to use it, and the plug was full of hair. The shower changes temperature a lot (hot/cold/very hot). One of the pillows was dirty, and so was the chair. The TV was a joke, it was so small, it was more like a PC monitor. The WIFI was very slow. At 8:30 AM housekeeping was vacuuming in front of our door, and banging loudly. We stayed in a lot of hotels, both high-end and budget, and this is no for 4 star hotel, it is a 3 star that really needs to improve.
