I’ve stayed at the Leonardo Heathrow Airport for years and would not stay anywhere else! I’ve been meaning to leave a review for some time now. My partner and I stayed ahead of an early flight from Heathrow the following day. The main reasons I we like the hotel so much: 1 - The staff. From check in to dinner, the same staff have been working at the hotel for years which shows it must be a great place to work! We stayed on Friday 1st August and our compliments go to the Chef and the F&B staff at dinner - literally all of them. Same faces we’ve seen over the years - always very friendly, very helpful and always smiling. The food is always outstanding - literally better than most meals we’ve had at the more upscale NYX and Leonardo Royal brands. It’s always excellent! 2 - The food. As per above! 3 - The location. Super close to T2 and T3 - literally the first hotel you see when leaving the main road / tunnel leaving the airport 4 - The beds are super comfortable and the rooms have been very well maintained following a fairly recent refurbishment. The rooms are also very quiet. 5 - The price. Always very reasonable! Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Everyone was super friendly. Quiet and can't hear planes, even on the side looking facing the airport. The restaurant is good and not too overpriced. Would recommend for a night-before-flight stay. The only gripes are the lift is broken, and as a result they offered to help with my bags, which I gratefully accepted, but I stood around in the lobby for ten minutes and no one ever came to take my bags, so I had to haul them up four flights of stairs... I would have done that if they hadn't offered to help with my bags, I just don't understand why you would offer to help with my bags, tell me someone will help with my bags, then NOT help me with my bags... they weren't very busy either. Just a frustrating experience that would have been solved by... not offering to help with my bags if they had no intention of helping with my bags. Finally, I have no idea what the "premium package" is other than an additional £15 and a "free" bottle of water. Sounds like a £15 bottle of water to me... do not recommend. You can buy the water outright for £4.

One of the worst hotel experiences we've had in years. By far. It seemed like a good idea to stay here, as we had a long stop over from Spain to San Francisco and wanted to get some good rest with the kids. The reception was very dry (which is fine). The room was fine, basic. Not a 4 star by any means. I'd say a 3 star for sure. We were four staying in the room (as per reservation), only a set of towels for three (still no big deal). The sink would clog up immediately and you have to wait for the water to go down forever. No place to hang the hand towels (no big deal). The nightmare really started when we went to dinner. I had the only Indian platter on the menu (I can't recall the name), chicken with some kind of curry and half of a beer glass. Stopped half way. Shortly up to our room, I started feeling ill and have had severe food poisoning symptoms for 48 hours now. I had to get clearance for traveling to the US long haul flight. I couldn't walk and was throwing up, etc. for hours and hours. I was trembling and in pain the whole flight, had to get helped up to go to the bathroom and I fainted. When I spoke with management, she took notes of what I hate, etc. But asked me several times if maybe it was something else I ate before coming to the hotel. You always know what makes you so ill. I could feel it immediately after eating. But there were no apologies, no compensation. I did get two bottles of water and an offer to call emergency medical services. I still can't believe this is a four star hotel. And I'm still recovering more than 48 hours later.
