Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham

Very satisfied with our one night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. We were able to leave luggage whilst we explored after checking out. The location was perfect for restaurants and beautiful canal walks.

Lovely hotel. Nice, professional reception team. Good spaces in the lobby to relax. Clean, airy. Very Clean toilets with good quality White Company Noir toiletries. Smelled fresh. Well maintained. Pleasant restaurant area. A la carte Leo’s menu quite pricey, however our food was tasty. Lots of choices for breakfast. Porridge gorgeous and creamy. Great selection of healthy options and fruit. Nice room, however needed more lighting options - one lamp bulb and the desk lamp was not working. Your lighting options were either Full Light or No light, with no middle option of soft lamp lighting before sleep which was disappointing. Bathroom nice and clean.Great quality toiletries again.Powerful, great, adjustable shower. The bed was amazingly comfortable; one of the best we’ve ever rested on; absolutely excellent. Lovely sheer window dressings giving privacy, so did not have to close curtains if preferred. Great city and canal view from higher floor. Excellent to have on site parking. All in all, a good stay and would definitely recommend and return to the Leonardo. Thank you.

Staff members at reception and breakfast the next morning did not come across as welcoming or friendly. Got the feeling some staff just didn’t want to be there! Room was lovely,had everything we needed. Nice and clean, housekeeping are doing a great job. Breakfast could do with more selection. Only fruit available was 2 oranges, all other shelves around them left empty and nobody was refilling it.
