Leonardo Royal Hotel Frankfurt

Amazing Frankfurt skyline views if you get the right room, and probably most of them are good. The location is a bit out of town, but a bus will take you straight down Darmstadter Landstrasse in no time, and they are regular. You can buy tickets at the bus stop opposite. Rooms are good and the staff are friendly. A good choice for Frankfurt.

We booked the hotel for one night because of its location and proximity to our family, and were pleasantly surprised. A great large room, super clean (even the joints in the bathroom - which unfortunately often suffers - were tip top... 😁), great uncomplicated and very nice reception. The price-performance ratio was absolutely perfect. We now know where we will book for the next family celebration. However, it should also be mentioned for tourists that the city center is not necessarily within easy walking distance, but transport links are close by.

Rooms are clean, but it’s warm, lamps are not working. Doesn’t have a phone to call reception, and worst of all that ‘iPad’ that’s supposed to allow us to get amenities doesn’t work. Requested for basic amenities and didn’t come even till the next morning. And it’s not just my room. Service is pretty mediocre as well.
