Leonardo Royal Hotel Ibiza Santa Eulalia

Exceeded our all inclusive expectations! Location amazing on the beach, food was a great standard and varied, drinks at the bar were good. The snack bar did an amazing burger! Although the pool area was very busy there were quieter beds in the sun terraces away from the pool a little. All areas of the hotel were kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Our room had a gorgeous sea view and was cleaned everyday. We had a fantastic break, thanks! My only complaint would be the amount of customers who ignored the no smoking policy at the sunbeds and pool bar. We will definitely return to the Leonardo Royal ❤️

Positives - location. Great access to the beach. Nice bars etc nearby. Rooms very comfortable, beds were very comfy and a/c was good. Food was very good - fresh and varied everyday. All inclusive drinks options were acceptable. Option of renting Balinese beds which was a huge positive (€10 per day) - completely necessary, see negatives! Negatives - rooms cleanliness not great, attention to detail lacking (hair in places, make up marks on wall, dirt on walls), cups from the bar not removed from the room daily (not sure why?). Entertainment- incredibly poor for an all inclusive hotel, great if you have under 5 yos but other than that there was nothing of any sort of quality. Sunbeds/pool management - very poor, whilst you expect the usual sunbed nutcases on holiday, this was another level. People out at 7am placing towels down and moving pool furniture to suit themselves despite the pool not opening until 10 (there was a poorly enforced barrier that we watched people ignore and go under!). Hence the Balinese beds were a godsend, we booked them each day and had privacy away from the crowds and a nice view of the bay.

Nice modern hotel. Check in was quick and desk staff friendly. I had a superior partial sea view room which I was very happy with. I was travelling solo so found there to be plenty of space and storage within the room. Would be ideal for a couple. Bar staff were efficient but could have been a little more friendly. I found the food to be average, some days better than others. It has a nice outdoor terrace where you can eat which is a bonus. The hotel is situated right next to the beach and was about a 5-7 minute walk away from the resort centre which I found to be ideal. Overall I really enjoyed my week there, not sure I would return however as there was no night time entertainment.
