Leopalace Resort Guam

The outside of the building may need cleaning but the inside is beautiful as ever. We had breakfast at the Lago restaurant. The serving portions were a little on the lite side but tasted delicious. We then enjoyed the bowling alley and karaoke rooms with snacks and drinks.

The resort is set in a beautiful, quiet location surrounded by lush greenery, which is its biggest strength. However, the property itself feels run-down. The buildings show clear signs of aging, and there is a very strong smell of mold, especially on the lower levels near the bowling area. At times, the atmosphere feels desolate and eerie. Our room was acceptable — the sheets were clean — but there was still a sense that it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The most concerning issue was the mold odor. My husband, who has asthma, experienced worsening symptoms, which made us feel the environment was unsafe for breathing and overall health. In summary: peaceful location, but poor maintenance and mold issues make this resort unsuitable for sensitive guests, especially those with respiratory conditions.

3 Stars only for the entertainment center and the tall guy that works at the pool bar. They are super friendly and very accommodating. Had an amazing time there! The rooms are nice too. But, we were ignored at the cafe and there was no one in line. We waited for 10min and were at the cashier waiting to order and no one greeted us or said anything to us, no eye contacts, no smiles. Just ignored and we were obviously seen because the girl stood at the cashier for 4min in front of us and didn’t acknowledge us. We ended up leaving and they didn’t care. There’s mold on the staircases and actually not everyone was friendly. Majority of the pool chairs had bird poop on them too. Also, the pool is not worth $20 fee for extra guest and we waited for the towels to be delivered due to cleaning them and my towel had bird poop on it.
