A Perfect Bush Getaway – Leopard Sands Resort Our 4-night stay at Leopard Sands Resort, near the Kruger Park, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like the most important guests on the property. The staff paid extra attention to every detail and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The all-inclusive halal food deserves special mention – it was truly world-class. Every meal was a delightful experience, with dishes that were both beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The variety, freshness, and quality were remarkable, making every breakfast, lunch, and dinner something to look forward to. The game drives were a highlight of our stay – one in the morning and one in the afternoon each day. The open vehicles were spacious and comfortable, with snacks and drinks provided throughout the drive. The guides were passionate, knowledgeable, and determined to ensure we spotted as many animals as possible, from elephants and hippos right from our room’s view, to elusive predators deep in the bush. They also provided fascinating insights into the behaviour and ecology of the wildlife we encountered. The pacing of the safaris was perfect, with ample time between drives to relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or lunch without feeling rushed or fatigued. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering a breathtaking view that often treated us to sightings of elephants and hippos without even leaving the balcony. It was the perfect blend of bush luxury and homely comfort. Leopard Sands Resort is more than just a place to stay – it’s an experience that blends luxury, relaxation, and adventure in perfect harmony. We left with hearts full of gratitude, cameras full of memories, and a strong desire to return.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Leopard Sands by Marriott at Kruger Park. Our room was beautiful, all the facilities wonderful. And I can’t say enough about how hospitable and wonderful all the staff were - each and every team member at Leopard Sands is totally focused on making sure you have a wonderful stay. The game drives were amazing, with friendly and knowledgeable guides - we saw all of the Big 5 and more! The Panorama route tour booked through the hotel was exceptional and a highlight of our whole trip to South Africa. The meals were really great and delivered with the most caring service - and nothing like eating with a view of the Sabie River and Kruger park- watching elephants and hippos visit the River! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at the Leopard Sands. Jimmy our game drive guide was the best ever, very sharp eyes, would do everything to get us a good sighting of the animals. It’s a small resort, so it was nice to mingle with the other guests. The Boma night with local African culture experience was very enjoyable. Rooms are great, staff very friendly, food decent. Highly recommend 👍🏻
