Leopard Sands Kruger Park

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Leopard Sands by Marriott at Kruger Park. Our room was beautiful, all the facilities wonderful. And I can’t say enough about how hospitable and wonderful all the staff were - each and every team member at Leopard Sands is totally focused on making sure you have a wonderful stay. The game drives were amazing, with friendly and knowledgeable guides - we saw all of the Big 5 and more! The Panorama route tour booked through the hotel was exceptional and a highlight of our whole trip to South Africa. The meals were really great and delivered with the most caring service - and nothing like eating with a view of the Sabie River and Kruger park- watching elephants and hippos visit the River! Highly recommend!

Amazing stay at the Leopard Sands. Jimmy our game drive guide was the best ever, very sharp eyes, would do everything to get us a good sighting of the animals. It’s a small resort, so it was nice to mingle with the other guests. The Boma night with local African culture experience was very enjoyable. Rooms are great, staff very friendly, food decent. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Full disclosure, I suck at writing and asked Gemini to help clarify my review I left with Marriott and also sent in an email to them. I read it and everything is true and accurate. This place is amazing and Jimmy and Sandros are amazing safari guides while Ben and Becky are wonderful drivers everywhere else and I hope Marriott is smart enough to bring them on full time. As Lifetime Platinum Elite members (my spouse also holds Platinum Elite status), we've stayed at countless Marriott properties worldwide, but Leopard Sands truly stands out. Our honeymoon here was nothing short of amazing, and we believe it might just be Marriott's best-kept secret! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the exceptional service and warmth of the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. We'd particularly like to recognize Ben, Becky, Pastor, Ernest (both of them!), and Jimmy for their outstanding generosity and kindness. They are true gems and deserve immense recognition. Our entire honeymoon was planned around our time at Leopard Sands, and we honestly wish we had spent our entire trip there. Even though we used points for our stay, we would gladly pay for a future visit – that's how much we loved it! We've been enthusiastically sharing our wonderful experience with everyone, including other travelers we met at a wedding in Spain, recommending they choose Leopard Sands for their travels.
