I am very happy to have stayed in this hotel for my holidays in France. I live in the USA and Montmartre is really a beautiful area. I loved this very dynamic place with its restaurants, cafes, art galleries and especially the architecture. I booked the Dali room, which is really beautiful and spacious. I loved the typical decoration. The owners hosting me warmly and gave me all the information when I needed it.
Wonderful atmosphere, very good service, lovely room and spectaculare view - as close as you can come to Sacré-Coeur in the heart of Monte Martre❤ Amazing place and location! We were happy that we had booked a room at the top floor🥰 Les Ateliers har some narrow stairs up to the 3rd floor, but that is not a problem for any "normal" healthy person - and it is absolutely worth it! 🌟 I would love to visit again. Thank you for a unforgettable stay🙏
I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel that this may be important for the safety of other travelers. My partner was locked out the building due to a malfunctioning key pad and since we were only provided one key and he had locked our hotel room door on the way out of the room, I was also trapped inside, on the 3rd floor, with no way to escape and no way to get downstairs to let my partner in. There is no option to unlock the door from the inside once it has been locked from the outside, so we spent hours with me trapped inside the room and my partner trapped outside the hotel building. No one was on site to help us but when help finally arrived, they had to kick the door down. It seemed like this was not a rare occurrence, so I would warn anyone, but especially women traveling alone, that there could be a chance of getting stuck outside the hotel with no one on site to assist. This would be especially problematic at night time. The owner was incredibly rude when this was brought to his attention and it took a lot of convincing for him to send help. He ended up yelling at me over the phone for attempting to toss the keys into the window (felt like our only option, as he was no longer answering our calls or giving us an update as to when help would arrive). The rooms also looks nothing like the photos. Old, dirty, and much smaller than they appear, and there is a cemetery right outside the window. View of Sacré-Coeur obstructed by trees and not like the photos present. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone, despite how cute it might look.
