Was a little nervous given some of the reviews when we arrived around 8pm on Friday and no one was there to greet us. But the room was cozy and the bed comfortable and the auberge is well maintained. The next day the staff was there and they were really sweet and worked to quickly clear snow. There’s a nice continental breakfast available anytime and the hot tub was wonderful. The staff let us stay late when we were confused about the checkout time and were very gracious. It’s not over the top luxury but it’s warm, welcoming, and cannot be beat for the price and location.
2nd time in this place. Good value and not far from the activities. The receptionist and customer service was excellent. Special mention to Maia who recommended a lot of things.. specially the coffe shop depot.. planning to come back in autumn.. cheers!
We didn’t receive the door codes by email as promised and had to phone the auberge multiple times to track down the codes. We didn’t see any staff all weekend. The rooms are okay and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was substandard - just some mass produced supermarket croissants and bread and dry cereal. There was no wood for the fireplace in the lounge. I would only stay here again if I had no other choice.
