Staff is excellent and the views amazing plus everything is almost new BUT it looks like a 3* hotel that did the bare minimum to became a 4* hotel. The SPA is not a SPA, just some sauna and jacuzzi that should be free. Anyway a good option for a night, not a long stay.
On the one hand nicely located on the tiny and pretty beach Les Elmes downtown Banyuls, on the other stuck along the village main street (luckly not noisy). Very clean,but a bit small room. Italian shower in the bathroom. The restaurant is good. Fresh fish. Good local wines... of course
Hotel reservations email is non responsive on important booking issues. Booked a room for 26 July the booking didn’t go through and when we finally got hold of reception by calling the hotel number to rebook for the price they promise for last minute booking the receptionist just refused to rebook. For 25 euros more you lost a whole reference to future guests. Remarking that the price went up and the price is online! Very rude and not accommodating. With so many friendly welcoming hotels to stay at I would not recommend this one to any of my clients in the future.
