The Mimosa gîte is an essential address in Cilaos, a place not to be missed. I have been using it for almost twenty years, and what strikes me above all is the consistency of its quality. Everything is taken care of: the warm welcome, the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, and of course, the refined cuisine, where each dish testifies to the talent of the hostess. What makes the experience even more authentic is the origin of the ingredients: everything comes from the garden or the henhouse, maintained with passion by the owner, a true follower of permaculture. Its garden, flowery and generous, is full of treasures. During our last visit, he offered us bunches of grapes from the Isabelle grape variety, untreated, which we happily tasted on site. But the experience does not stop there: the owner also has a rare talent for hosting meals, creating a real unforgettable moment of exchange and sharing. A huge thank you to both of you for your sincere welcome, your smiles and this break of well-being that you offer to your guests.
