Beautiful and very charming bed and breakfast. Only five rooms in the building and each is unique, cozy and very appealing. Old world charm meet new world amenities. The pool and garden are amazing places to relax while the morning breakfast has everything you need to start the day. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Charming atmosphere, with a pleasant garden and a pool, our room had a balcony with a spectacular view, it is located in an interesting area 10 minutes from the old City and the Maeght Foundation.

I had read reviews saying that the rooms were hot and musty, but others have described it as charming, and said that the friendliness and the breakfasts made up for any lacking in amenities. However when I arrived at the Auberge, the woman in charge seemed disinterested, and pointed me to the room and gave me a key to the flimsy door. When I opened the door I was shocked to see that the room indeed smelled musty and was very hot, the bed felt rickety and I saw what looked like an antique fan on the floor (and of course no TV and no Wi-Fi )The bathroom had been newly renovated, which was the only redeeming feature of the place, and the pool did indeed look nice as in the pictures. But I thought it would be impossible to sleep there, so after having checked in, I decided to cancel the second night of my reservation. Around 4 PM I received a message from the woman asking if there was a mistake. When I got to the property half an hour later, she said that I was to get my luggage and vacate the room as it had been rebooked. I asked how this was possible since I had already checked in, and she said since you have cancelled the room it was put back into the system, and that she had no control of the matter. The truth is, that all owners have control, and she could have waited half an hour for me to explain the Situation, Instead she chose to reopen the room for Reservations, Despite me having paid for one night’s stay. I was extremely disappointed and angry by this treatment, and unwillingness to make any compensation when I had explained the situation to her. I have seen positive comments by other people, and can only assume that most didn’t have to experience the room in the heat of July and August.!This is not a place that I would recommend, even for the breakfast and pool! And Certainly not for the treatment of its guests!
