Les Pergamon

Location : Walking distance to the base of Acropolis where you can take the Teleferik up. 350m from minibus station down the hill. Yes! You have to climb up that 350m can be quite a challenge but once you up, the view is spectacular. Host, Deniz has been very friendly & accommodating. Allows me early check-in at 1.30pm even though check-in only at 2pm. The place looks like it has its better days but it still hold its charm. I felt like I’m transported into a Transylvania Castle. Decided to have dinner in-house. Surprised there’s a small crowd & a live-band. The singer sang beautifully. Didn’t expect that. Really enjoyed the dinner & the live-band. Understand it’s a low-season in late November but host Deniz has played the pivotal in making my short stay special. Definitely would recommend this place. The only caveat, you need to climb up that uphill cobbled-stone narrow lane up or just take a cab.

Best place in Pergamon for a meal. Terrific service by charismatic waiters! We would have stayed here but they were booked up.

Worst 5 stars ever, The hotel is extremely poorly managed, with no reception. The food at the restaurant was good, but the restaurant was outrageous; they gave us a menu from three years ago without informing us of the current prices. At checkout, they told us it was an old menu and charged us more than five times the listed prices making me feel scammed by this "five-star" hotel. After complaining to the manager, we finally received a discount, which is the only reason I didn't give a one-star rating. For the room, the bed had black lint on the comforter, the room walls had yellow stains, and the carpet was dirty and poorly cleaned. The curtains fell off when pulled. Only the restaurant area had WiFi, but the speed was incredibly slow (
