Les Sables Noirs & Spa

Charming hotel nestled in a picturesque setting with its own private beach adorned with exotic black sand. We visited at the season's end, which afforded a peaceful and uncrowded experience, a serene escape from the usual bustle. Unfortunately, the spa was non-operational, likely due to the impending close of the season. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, though I found myself missing a kettle for a warm drink. Intriguingly, the room included a kitchen, but using it incurred an additional charge of 12 euros per day, a detail that caught me by surprise. Although dining on the terrace was not an option this time, as service had already ceased, I am keen to return during the summer months. Perhaps then, I can enjoy a meal while watching the sun set majestically over the lagoon—an experience I eagerly anticipate.

This hotel is simply one of the best I've had the pleasure of staying in: great location, friendly staff, suites with beautiful sea views. And then there is the fantastic terrace for sunset aperitifs (priceless) and dinner (fantastic) accompanied by a great DJ set. This hotel is the perfect place to relax and/or the perfect base for exploring the Aeolian Islands. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel, on the beach with a private area with sun loungers for guests. Rooms spacious, well equipped and clean. Service good and friendly staff, although limited english at breakfast. Great rooftop bar with stunning view and sunset. Highly recommend!
