Location is perfect; but room and service sucks! The bedroom is connected to two bedrooms but both door locks broken, unable to close and the door will slide open; no privacy at all when showering! The apartment door is also not secured; the door will be open when entering with some force. Bedsheets are not clean. Listing 2 sofa beds is fault advertising! These 2 sofa beds aren’t sofa beds, can’t pull out and not even be able to sleep one person! In addition, someone parked my spot, called the service desk, they don’t care at all!
This is the first time as an Agoda VIP Platinum member of 8 years that I am taking the time to write a bad review. It is falsely listed as a hotel room. There is no concierge, and no service. Worst of all, they falsely advertised a bathtub as part of the room, and they took away the plug to ensure you do not use up their water bills. We tried to raise the issue through the Agoda app on the afternoon we checked in, they did nothing until we complained directly to Agoda the next morning for false advertisement, and they only provided a bathtub plug 1 hour before checkout. Do not expect luggage storage either.
I have booked a hotel Bakan - Saint Francois Xaviar. When I arrived to the exact location. I was expecting to see a hotel, but it was an Airbnb, and i suppose to book a hotel as described at Expedia website, even I could not enter the building, because the management of that team did not provide any info after receiving their confirmation . I tried calling them using the phone number in that confirmation email, and found out the number is out of service, therefore the only way to reach out was sending email. So I sent email and asked how I can enter the building, because no one from their team was presented and it’s contradict the information at Expedia website of having someone from 10 am to 9 pm and requested them, if possible to call me? They did not call me back to assist me, therefore the only way was to continue using emails. At the end, I was able to get to the room, and unfortunately it was in a poor conditions , there were no instructions whatever like the internet password, the TV remote control led was loosen, and again I still was not able to find anyone from their team, I only saw a lady who works in replaced the sheets in the outside of the room, and I asked her for help, she did not want to speak to me by saying I don’t speak English. I asked if she can get me someone who can speak English and she refused and walked away. My only way was to call Expedia and make a complain and in fact Expedia did not help me at all, and while talking to Expedia, I saw a mouse crawling under the bed and I told Expedia that I am leaving and need to be relocated. Expedia did not help me to relocate so I have to find another hotel by myself. I have requested Expedia to refund back my money, because I used the information at Expedia to make the booking and desite the information were not true, Expedia should take the responsibility and they were very disappointed. Right now, I am not able to refund back my money, and I really learned my listen after 20 years being a customer for Expedia not to trust them again. I will try not to book via Expedia moving forward
