I truly loved the experience here. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well thought out and welcoming. The overwater villas are not just unique, but also offer a sense of privacy and comfort that’s hard to find elsewhere. Watching the sunset from our private pool was easily one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. In my opinion, every Malaysian should experience a stay here at least once in their lifetime. It’s the kind of getaway that reminds you to slow down, appreciate the little things, and enjoy the beauty our country has to offer.
“A Relaxing Stay with Exceptional Service, But Room for Improvement” We had an overall great stay at this resort and would happily return. The standout feature was the friendly and welcoming service — every staff member we encountered was helpful, warm, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were impressively smooth, making for a stress-free arrival and departure. Our room was comfortable, with high-quality bedding and sheets that made for restful nights. We were especially impressed by the in-room pool and steam room, which felt like a private spa experience. The smart TV with a wide selection of movies was a nice touch for unwinding in the evenings. The resort’s private beach is absolutely stunning and never felt overcrowded. One of the highlights of our evenings was the daily fire performance at 8 PM — a unique and memorable touch that added to the charm of the place. That said, there were a few areas that didn’t quite hit the 5-star mark. The buffet breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t offer the variety or quality expected at this price point. Also, while the in-room pool was a great amenity, it was a bit spoiled by bird feathers, as birds seemed to fly around the area frequently. The room amenities were fairly basic, and the corridors (and occasionally the room itself) had a humid, musty smell, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant ambiance. In summary, this resort offers a relaxing and unique experience with excellent service, but there are a few areas that could use improvement to truly elevate it to luxury status.
I went to Lexis Hibiscus for a work training, and my experience was a bit mixed. The location is aesthetically pleasing as it's located on the beach shore of Port Dickson. The chalets are also quite nice as they're in the shape of a Hibiscus flower, so it's nice for a cool evening walk. There are a number of activities one can do as a family here, so it's good for kids. However, the rooms are a bit old and are in need of some uplift. The food was not really great either. All our meals were in a buffet, and nothing really stood out, even though it was well stocked. Overall, it's not a bad place. However, for the price you pay and the fact that it's a 5-star hotel, it should be much better.
