I absolutely adored my stay at L&H Gran Via! The room was a little bit compact (which is common for European hotels), but very cute, modern and clean. The ceilings in the room are really high so it doesn't feel too cramped in there despite of the small square footage. I had a room on a higher floor with a small European balcony overlooking the main street. The location was fine, although I would prefer to be closer to the main plazas. I was there for the Fallas Festival and there were a lot of street closures, so it was a bit hard at times to get a cab to get back to the hotel and it was not a short walk back. There are a lot of awesome neighborhood restaurants very close by and Mercadona supermarket is right next to it too! It seemed that everything was much cheaper in this area too compared to the more touristy popular areas near the main Plazas. The staff was amazing and very accommodating, I was there for a long time and not once had anything negative from the staff. I took off to Barcelona for 2-3 days and when I got back my entire mini fridge was restocked for me as a courtesy and they even left a cute note! Super nice touch! I appreciated my Nespresso machine and the free coffee in the room in the mornings! I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you L&H! P.S. Bar Ricardo (an awesome neighborhood spot) has amazing food and it's 5 min from the hotel!

From the moment we arrived, the staff at L&H Gran Vía Valencia made us feel welcome with their friendly and attentive approach. The hotel is in a very central location, and many key spots can be reached with a pleasant 15-20 minute walk. We traveled by car and were aware that the hotel doesn’t have its own parking. However, we were able to find street parking nearby without much trouble. On the rare occasion we couldn’t, there was a convenient parking garage just a short distance away. Breakfast at the hotel was varied and delicious, with enough options to satisfy everyone. We also decided to have dinner at the hotel one evening, and the salmon I ordered turned out to be one of the best I’ve had in a long time. If it’s still on the menu, I highly recommend trying it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A particularly nice touch was the fully stocked minibar, which was offered free of charge—a rare and thoughtful gesture. Having stayed at other hotels in Valencia before, I can confidently say that L&H Gran Vía Valencia stands out as an excellent choice. If I visit Valencia again, I won’t need to look for another place to stay. Highly recommended!

Spent three nights at this hotel. The breakfast was good, the room was pretty, reception staff were friendly but that’s about it. The staff barely spoke English, the maid didn’t even know what a ‘towel’ means, I literally had to show it to her to get clean towels in my room. Can confirm the comments about unpleasant smell from the bathroom, apparently 2 years weren’t enough to fix it. The location could be better, there are trash containers in front of the exit, not the prettiest sight. Still, these problems weren’t critical and overall my stay was ok until the housekeeper threw away the pillow I accidentally left in the room after checking out. I came back for it in a couple hours and found they just threw it in the trash. This was a new orthopedic pillow worth over 60 euros. The staff tried to offer someone else’s cheap pillow to me as a replacement but I didn’t want it, obviously. After I refused, they offered no compensation or solution. I was on my way to the train station so couldn’t stay and argue with them. This whole situation was beyond me. I have never seen such complete disregard for guests and their property. This also happened on my birthday and ruined my mood for the rest of the day. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and won’t set foot in here ever again. UPDATE: the hotel is straight up LYING in their response. I was right there when the staff contacted the housekeeping lady, and she remembered the pillow, said it was in the room and she threw it away. So everything they wrote about that situation is a LIE to make themselves look innocent. It’s also worth noting that the management never contacted me by phone or email to offer a compensation or even just an apology. They’re trying to discredit my review on here, but they don’t care about the situation or my experience at all. Anyway… stay away from this hotel.
