LH Hotel La Funtana Adults only

When I first pulled up to this hotel, I was worried that it was a bit ropey and would be loud, but I was so wrong. Right next to the main road but the outside area, and the pool, is very very quiet. Immediately on entering the hotel, we were greeted with warm, happy and friendly faces. The lady at reception gave us so great recommends for the area, and was realistic with us regarding the high prices for taxis and sun loungers. I did not know this before booking, but they have a large supply of umbrella and beach mats (think there was something else also but I can not remember) which are FREE OF CHARGE. You can keep hold of them for your holiday and return at the end. The first room we were offered was nice, but we wished to have a balcony or patio so that we can sit outside in the evening and have a nice drink, when we spoke with reception, they happily changed our room in a heart beat. There is a ATM in the hotel, but after reading reviews for the brand, it is not recommend as they have a high rage fee. One issue is that the walls are too thin. I’m sitting in bed, having a normal volume conversation with my husband, and the neighbours are banging on the wall saying that I am too loud. God knows how they could hear us, unless they have supersonic hearing. On our first night we walked into town, easy straight walk took just under 15 minutes. Plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was great, wide selection. Only thing the coffee tasted really strange, so will be avoiding that. Would definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff was very nice, the rooms were large, and the location was ~15-20mins walkable to town with a supermarket across the street. The only note is that for the price paid, the rooms do not feel quite what you might want from a 4-star, although there's nothing wrong with them either - in our research it seemed like pricing was consistently high across town so not much to be done. We would recommend this hotel to others!

I first thought: really not luxurious at all. Then after a dew hours, i realized that this hotel is very clean, very nicely decorated and the staff, like all the Sardinian people I have spoken to, are friendly, helpful and do their best to make you feel welcome. Like most reviews I have read, it is worth staying at this hotel and recommend it to anyone coming to St Teresa Gallura.
